DPS Group announce Living Wage accreditation

Fife based firm gain UK Living Wage employer status

DPS Group are delighted to become part of the group of employers in Scotland that are paying the UK Living Wage.

The Living Wage is independently calculated each year based on what employees and their families need to live and this week sees a UK wide celebration of the Living Wage, and the opportunities it brings to employees.

The Scottish Living Wage Accreditation Initiative has been operating in Scotland since April 2014 and provides support and advice to organisations that wish to pay the living wage.

DPS Group have enjoyed strong growth in recent years, significantly increasing their workforce and investing in a programme for apprentices.

They are running ahead of the curve in terms of investment in digital infrastructure such as the introduction of paperless risk-based compliance testing as the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) begins to make a significant impact on multiple manufacturing sectors.

DPS Group Director Colin Millar comments:

“By becoming Living Wage accredited we are benefiting the local community, giving a better quality of life to local families and boosting the local economy.  We are sending a clear message to our staff, customers and suppliers that the DPS Group is a caring company."
