Apprentice flourishes through DPS

Apprentice Ryan Poole will have his employment extended.


DPS Group are delighted to reveal that apprentice Ryan Poole will be completing his electrician apprenticeship very shortly, and DPS Group will be extending his employment

Ryan will now progress to join the instrument department and be crossed trained as an Instrumentation Technician, attending Forth Valley College for further HNC education in ‘Instrumentation and Process Control’.

DPS Group created 22 jobs in the first six months of this year, including four apprentice and graduate positions.

The new posts have increased its permanent workforce by 30 per cent to more than 60 people, with a further 120 contract positions.

“This year we’ve appointed to roles at all levels within our business, and it’s particularly pleasing to be able to report that we’re continuing to grow our apprentice and graduate programme," said Martin Brownlee, group director at DPS.

"It's fantastic to see someone like Ryan growing through the business, and we would like to congratulate him on his hard work so far. Well done!"
